Enabling PPRuNe post pop-up window
 

Laptop running XP SP3 Media Center Edition 2005
PC running XP Pro SP3

Web browser on both is the current release of Google Chrome, v7.0.517.41 though what I now describe has happened with every release of Chrome I have tried. Web browser settings are identical on both machines and my PPRuNe userid is logged in on both, too.

Hover over the link to a PPRuNe post using the laptop and a small pop up window helpfully gives the first part of the post text, but do this on the PC and no such window pops up.

A quick search reveals a couple of post related to this pop up window but neither describes my problem. One does however indicate that the pop-up window is probably HTML controlled, not Java, which just makes me more puzzled!

Suggestions please on how to enable this helpful pop-up when using the PC.
