DS Lite
 

Hi There,

Got a replacement battery for my daughter's DS - still not working. The light comes on for a sec then goes off again. Any ideas? Think the battery needs charged even though it was meant to be already. Where can I buy a Charger for these batteries?

You need to google for something like "universal battery charger". They're available at all pricing points and various levels of scariness. Basically they have some way of pressing two pins against the battery whilst gripping it firmly. The chip then works out the polarity, and then guesses the charging profile.

Although I'm surprised the battery is refusing to charge: the DSLite charging system isn't particularly clever.

Sounds to me like the symptoms of a blown fuse. You can sometimes get them on ebay or you can try: Replacement DS Lite miniature F1/2 circuit fuse
