Can't Delete an Email
 

A friend - at least I thought he was a friend - sent me an email (I suspect he was hijacked) which I cannot delete. I am using my AOL account, but not via the AOL browser, on a Mac. The message is reproduced below:

The message “+Hi+ ” could not be moved to the mailbox “Trash — AOL”
The IMAP command “UID COPY” (to Deleted Messages) failed for the mailbox “INBOX” with server error: UID COPY "Deleted Messages" Failed..

Any ideas please?

Can you access the mail server using webmail, if so log in and just delete it from the server..

I have had to do similar in the past, but dont use AOL...

Thanks Av, sounds simple, but opened AOL in Safari, went to email and it would delete from there. Must be a Mac thing - or an AOL thing!
