Email query/Mime
Using Xp SP3, Outlook Express 6. I send a few emails with header image (jpg), no repeat, position top right.
The odd recipient gets the image repeated all over the page. If I forward one of these 'multiple image' emails to myself it indeed has multiple images and returns 'THIS MESSAGE IS IN MIME FORMAT. Since your mail reader does not understand this format, ... ' 99% of all emails arrive in my inbox in Mime format, read correctly, without this warning. What causes my OE to temporarily become unable to read a Mime message? |
Dodgy MIME formatting most likely. Try a different mailer.

'Scuse my ignorance, Mike, but where is the 'formatting' done and what exactly is a 'mailer'? Is it the email client (OE) or the SMTP server at my host or ISP? Still not sure why 99% are working ok.
