Locks Up on Games

Dell Lattitude, kinda old. When playing games (not very technically trying ones), computer slows down, cursor hangs, and machine then locks up. Any thoughts appreciated.

Addition to the above, which "not very technically trying" games are we talking about?

Believe it or not, the "not very technically trying" games might require a PC setup (CPU/gfx card/RAM/OS/etc) above what you have.

We REALLY need more info on this
