FireFox spell checker add-on
 

Not sure whether I should post this now:confused: But still, this might happen again.....

Last week downloaded an add-on 'British English Dictionary 1.19' all work fine until yesterday, when the spell checker stopped working. I had the relevant boxes [ticked] ..
Check spelling as I type.
Always check to see if FF is the default browser on start up.

An hour ago I downloaded again the 1.19 version, now all is working again:) but I'm wondering what caused it to pack up yesterday? Will it happen again?

Maybe. Who knows? You don't really expect anything to do with computing to have an easy predictable answer, do you? If you do you are doomed to disappointment.
