Garmin 530 query

Am running a Macbook and attempted to download a simulator from Garmin for the 530.

Garmin: 500 Series Simulator Updates & Downloads

Clearly I am being ultra stoopid as it comes up with a box filled with a zillion hieroglyphics. Jetlag may be to blame.

Can some kind guru give me a clue how to download this, in its working form, on a Macbook please?
