itunes problem, please help!!!
 

Hi guys. I'm trying to update to the new copy (version 8) of itunes to sync my new iphone. Everytime I try to install the new version it says there is a problem with itunes' security certificate and it won't allow me to update it! I have now deleted itunes in attempt to reinstall, but the same thing happens. Any ideas??

Check the date and time on your computer is correct. After that, the fixes get a little hairier.

OK Updated the date and time (which were correct anyway) it now has no issue with security certificates, but it still wont work. It will not open the set up file which I have downloaded from apple. It now says this programme has encountered a problem and will now close. I am going mad with this, any help is much appreciated!

If this is a Windows PC, it often helps to remove/uninstall Quicktime, and reinstall that before installing iTunes.
