Notification Area Display

I have been messing and some settings seem to have become altered
When I hold the pointer over an icon in the notification area (the bit on the bottom right of the screen) the information is not displayed on top. i.e. part of it is hidden behind the Taskbar.
Where do I alter this to show it all on top?

Sorry but I have solved it by restarting computer. Should have tried this first.
