anyone good with Nero?

I have got nero8 and basically want to compile a DVD (or 2 depending on space) of photos and MP4 videos from my n95. I want it to be able to be played on any DVD player and also have a seperate folder on the front page for the photos and the videos.

How is this done?

The Nero website has video tutorials covering several aspects of the package.

thanks for your reply. I have looked at the nero site but not able to find a tutorial that explains how to do what I am trying to.

Never wanted to do anything like this myself but I have found Nero to be quite straightforward for most standard things.

BUT, it sounds like you're not looking for standard. If you want a DVD that is playable in a plain vanilla 'fits under the TV' DVD then it has to be recorded in a specific format - this may not be compatible with what you have in mind as a seperate folder on the front page for the photos and the videos. There are formats that facilitate both DVD players and computer readable data but I don't know whether Nero supports any of these.

I don't have Nero available to me right now to check, but I see the Nero Vision pack (included with Nero) has the ability to make video slide shows. You can include a slide show as a standard "title" on a DVD, accessible from the DVD "main menu". Go to tutorials, then look for "creating a slide show".

ps There's even a "save original pictures" option, so that the pictures are saved in PC-readable form on the same disc.

I only have Nero 6 but the process of producing a Photo Slide show on a DVD looks pretty straightforward - this screenshot might help :

Click on the "Make Photo Slide Show (DVD)" :ok:
