Well chaps,

just bought meself one of those media centre pc thingies...... well actually bought one for me girlfowl as I wanted one........

Thing is at some stage during the install me panasonic sky digibox started reacting real proper slow. Tried switch off, card out, cable out, power cable out leave half hour and no better.

Can't try the new software thing as don't have a landline plugged into it - am using it abroad.

Hope ya's have some kunning ideas for me!!! :hmm:

Just remembered - one thing that HAS changed in the new installation is that I am now using a scart to component cable instead of the previous scart to scart. Could that cause this?

It comes from the satellite not the phone line.

Yes I would have thought so but one of those forum places said that you had to have the phone plugged in? I kinda assumed that was for authentication or summat.........
