.pst file and Vista
I move between a couple of places. Rather than take computers with me I load data on to a memory stick and take that with me.
I have just got a new computer to replace a broken one in one location. The problem is it runs on VISTA and I can’t find the place where the .pst file goes so I can transfer across all my Outlook data. I have loaded Office 2003 on to it not Office 2007. As I said I am using Outlook 2003 but the trouble is I can find C:\documents and settings\myname\local settings\application data\Microsoft\outlook on the old computer here working XP, but I cannot find that file on VISTA. Can anybody point me in the correct place, Thanks |

Although I use 2007 on Vista, my pst file is located at C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook Try looking there. Best of luck HA |
I use Office 2003 on Vista and the file is at
C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook You will have to show hidden files in folder options to see them though. |
