I know this is possibly a stupid question, but I need professional help.

How do you search for two items that both have to be in the results but not necessarily as a string?

I've tried*:

fresh spirit
fresh +spirit
+fresh +spirit
fresh+spirit
fresh AND spirit
freshANDspirit
fresh_AND_spirit
ANDfresh ANDspirit

Every time the results come up it says the search criterion is:
fresh OR spirit

I read a signature that says "using search saves lives", I'm at the point of wanting to kill something

*The words aren't the search I'm trying to do, just an example.

fresh .AND. spirit (dots each side of the AND).
