posting out of win98
 

Captn P sorry to bother you but why cant I copy and paste text out of Win 98 notepad or Win Word98 to your forum boxes ? or is it just me

Hey, it shouyld work okay - I've done it. Just "copy" and then go to the "reply to post", and "paste with the cursor in the "your reply" box.

Should be fine!

See Nasaboy just like that!

Hightlight the text / RIGHT click / hold cursor over highlighted text and click Copy.
Open forum and Paste at cursor.

;) Just in case you DIDn't know how to do it :)

I may be dumb but not THAT stupid, I do know how to cut and paste !, for some reason my paste buffer wont transfer into the pprune reply window its weird maybe an AOL thing

just tell us one thing which works "normal" in AOL....
did you try the SHIFT-INSERT after clicking in the reply field?
Must be at your end...works smashing for others....

Never know how "dumb" some people are!! Assumed you were a real beginner - obviously not!!

I guess it must be something to do with AOL as it works okay for everyone above, as well as on my office, home, and lap-top computer. Any "AOL Gurus" out there can comment??
