Atomic clock setters.
Another little teaser for you techies.
I loaded (and adore) zonealarm after reading the thread - but then lost track of the debate on Atomic Clocks. I'd like to find a site that will - whenever I log onto the net - automatically (and quietly) sod off and check the time..then make my computer agree with it. I'd like all this to ferret away in the background without me even knowing it. Any suggestions? ------------------ Animals...it's their World too!! |

SqueakMail - Choose a clock site which is geographically close. I was using a US Naval clock (which is quite a long way away) with World Clock and wondered why it was always about twenty seconds slow compared with the BBC time signal. Changed it to a local clock and the clock hand zoomed forward about 26 seconds. I suspect this might be because there is a finite time for the time signal to work its way back through the "messy" network known as the Internet!
