Who do you use to host Pprune?

Massively impressed with the Pprune site, and very interested in knowing who hosts this site, on what hardware and using which software?

Did Danny (or anyone of the other main chaps) code this page or is it an off the shelf product?

Any techie info about the site would be greatly appreciated - just very curious (and would love something similar for a sport site that I run)

This site uses Zeus Web Server (ZWS) instead of the more commonly used Apache. ZWS is significantly faster, much easier to configure and administer, and the support we get from Zeus is excellent. For busy websites which need to be available 100% of the time (e.g. PPRuNe, eBay) it just cannot be beaten.

Click on the "powered by Zeus" logo for more details about ZWS and the copmany.

BTW, the Chief Executive Officer of Zeus is a relative of retired test pilot Lt. Cdr Peter Twiss OBE who was the first man to fly at over 1000mph.
