Quick question..

There's a thread going on at the moment on the FI's forum about spinning. Three or four months down the line it's going to be damn useful, but right now I haven't got the hours. Is it still going to be there when I need it?? Can it be bookmarked, or do the thread numbers etc. get recycled??

Yep, bookmark it. You'll see from the URL above that this topic is 001043 in forum 35.
(try changing either topic or forum in your address window - you'll jump to some random thread). It'll keep that id until the millionth thread. No idea what happens then.

Note that we do on occasion purge old threads in the busiest forums, e.g. R&N, Wannabes, Mil, D&G, JB. If we don't do that, the UBB software crashes.

Quieter forums such as FI are left alone.
