Elf Bowling

Anyone downloaded Elf Bowling? So I am told there is a virus which will play havoc with your computers on Christmas Day. So if you have it please get rid of it.

Sometimes people have as much fun sending out hoax warnings as viruses.

I have been told by my IT dept. that it is just a hoax, sent by some sad individual who objects to knocking a few elves down.
However if you are worried about it, better to be safe than sorry, delete the little blighters :)

For those of you who have the "better safe than sorry" mentality, deleting the e-mail which gave you elf bowling is insufficient. The .exe file copies itself - you should search your memory for any file of the type A000*.* and delete them also.

Their home page has further information about the virus hoax. I would also recommend Frogapult; kept the rugrats occupied for hours.
