The two that usually inhabit the status bar. Just cannot remember how to restore them.

Go to network and dial up connections, then right click on whichever connection you want to blink and select properties. There should then be a tick box "show icon in taskbar when connected" Make sure that is ticked.
Not sure if you will have to relaod to see the change.

And i have just noticed that the clock is wrong on my previous post, even thought the bit at the bottom of the forum page that saysis right.

Thanks, stickyb. It wasn't that but a restart fixed it - how I do not know but all is well.

Maybe you are not pedalling hard enough on the cycle driven generator Pop!;)
