AdFilter updated.Now it doesn't work. Freebies please
 

Hi,

I've just downloaded AdFilter 3.2. It keeps pestering me for the new code as the old one doesn't work.

Can anyone suggest an decent filter thats free. because being a skinflint pilot, I don't want to keep paying for upgrades.

Have you tried the ad spyware produced by Lavasoft?

However, Adfilter filters out adverts before the page gets downloaded. I think Webwasher did the same, but apparently it uses lots of processor power.

If you know of similar freeware or how I can use a full trial version of Adfilter, I'd appreciate it.

I use Webwasher ( freeware ) and it certainly does the job. Easy to use and setup for a computer illiterate like me. Works on a Pentium 90.
