FS2000 - u/s
 

Just acquired FS2000 pro edition and trying to run it on ME.

It installs OK (apparently). I then reboot and try and run it from the desktop icon, but it persistently says wrong CD inserted, insert correct CD and click OK.

No matter what CD goes in, it makes no difference. I've uninstalled and re-installed, but no joy.

Other games CDs are OK.

Anyone else had this or got any ideas?

I've had the same problem. Send me an email and I'll send you a FS.exe file that will overcome the problem.

You can only run the pro edition with disk 2 in the cd drive and not disk 1 or 3, there is a hack avail http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kds?H49...to/startup.htm that allows you to run fs2k without the cd in, whish is what shack is sending I guess.
