Forums won't load using explorer - help!
 

When I use IE the pprune forums won't load. The page remains blank and when I run out of patience (usually after 2 mins) and hit stop only the adds on top of the page is shown.

I can however access a lot of other UBB message boards with no problems at all.

Also I can access pprune using netscape but the crqp crashes all the time.

Luckly this problem is only at my work, I have no problems at home.

Do anyone have an idea what might be wrong with my IE setup?

The bulletin board runs on a different server to the ads. This makes me suspect that your company might have banned access to PPRuNe http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/frown.gif

Since 20/04/01 I have been getting an error message something along the lines of :- you have chosen to download the file pprune1 please choose the prog. you would like to use.
this happens if I type www.pprune.org, if I type just pprune.org it works ok.

I doubt that pprune has been banned as the company I work for probably doesn't even know of it's existance.
