Why doesn't PPRuNe know I've been in here?
 

I visit the forums a couple of times a day at least. But the bit at the top of the first page now continually tells me the last time I visited was 29th November. This means I can't see at a glance which threads have new posts since I was last here etc. So why is it doing this? What's happened all of a sudden (since Nov 29th, anyway)? And can I do anything about it?

Suggest you go to the "preferences" page and delete all your cookies and make sure you have a blob in the option to store your details for a year. That may sort any problems caused by your PPRuNe setup.

The may be a problem with the Browser setup that results in your Temporary Internet Files being erased every time you close down your browser. Check the options there as well. Good Luck, Mr F.

Deleting the cookies seems to have worked!

Make sure also that you go in through the front door. (PPRuNe home page)Your arrival will be noticed.

I have a bookmark setup that takes me directly to Dunnunda and the dates since last logon and the colour changing icons that indicate new posts since your last logon are absent if you enter the BB this way.
