Using a Handycam as a webcam

Does anyone know is it possible to use a Sony DCR-PC9E as a web cam. If it is possible any explination as how to set it up would be very grateful
Cheers in advance

you need a graphics adapter to plug in the video cam, once installed any of the utilities available to produce webcam streams or pics can be used as they ask for the source.

I assume that the Sony is a Digital cam with a fibre output. You will need a Firewire card in your PC and you can download some software from www.tucows.com
