Here's a nifty little SS from Berkeley University. SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). It acts as an SS using your PC when your not.

Rumour has it that they've found something at aviation house!!

There are two other similar projects for a more worthy cause, Drug treatment analysis for Cancer and HIV. The only moral dilema is who will reap the rewards? Patients, The public who helped or the drug companies. I couldn't tell you the URL's but if your looking for something more worthwhile to do with the spare clock ticks of your super computer then just do a little google search
