Printing video files..need a guru, please
Important question this one....have video taped some "evidence" that will likely be used in a court case.
Using a digital video camera and a video capture device, I now have the material stored on the hard drive of this computer. Played it back in Windows Media (and other progs.) Now need to print - with standard parallel port colour printer - some "stills" of the evidence. Can anybody tell me how - assuming it is possible. ------------------ Animals...it's their World too!! |
If your playback prog will give you a pause facility, use it for the bits you want and do a screen capture - Paint Shop Pro will do it quite nicely. Save as a jpeg (or other) and print as normal. Have done this with mine but I use a Hauppauge WinTv card as the video player.

Haven't tried this with video but it works with web pages.
Pause the video, hit the "print screen" button on the keyboard. Open a blank Word document, right click, paste. Print. |
