Nero Burn (CD-RW)
Nero Burn;
I bought an Iomega 650MB CD-RW portable recently and found that I couldn't burn anything over 650mb on a 700mb blank. (I'm a Newbie to Burning, Ok!) Rang Software-Warehouse..... sorry, dunno! Rang Iomega ...... not possible! Rang Adaptec...... ditto! Rang Freecom..... no worries, go to www.ahead.de/ and dload their Demo...... brilliant! Works perfectly now. Is anyone else burning CDs? I have to admit, I've created a few Coffee Coasters this week. :) |
Blackadder be prepared to make many coasters.
To burn more than the standard 650mb CDRom the writer needs to be able to do it as well as the software. The hardware should be supported in the software as I assume it came with it. It's just a question of whether the writer will. I use ezcd creator from adaptec and that allows you to go past the 650mb barrier providing the writer does, some do some don't I'm afraid. Beware that having more than one bit of burning software on your pc at the same time can cause problems especially between nero and ezcd creator. |
Maybe I should have made my tip clearer, sorry.
The Nero software enables me to burn up to 699mb. The Adaptec software won't. Iomega said it wasn't possible! WRONG! :) Iomega own Adaptec? |
How do you do MP3 to WAV??
I have some MP3 files that I would be good to listen to on my hi-fi...any ideas?? (Apart from connect PC to Hi-fi!!) |
G'day Bov,
I found a good Forum for Questions such as yours, it's at www.cdrom-guide.com/cgi/Ultimate.cgi Use the 'search' engine and enter MP3. Eli Vator gave me these 2 good links. http://www.cdrwcentral.com/ http://www.cdrinfo.com/ Cheers. |

In Adaptec EasyCD 4.02, if you double click on the bar at the bottom which shows how much of the CDR's capacity is used, it will change from 650Mb to 700Mb (provided, I assume, the writer can handle it)
Hope this helps pilot-lite [This message has been edited by pilot-lite (edited 13 June 2000).] |
