Upping our hit-rate
 

Hi

I am the webmaster for our aviation website (we are a University department) and although are web hits are growing quite impressively, we don't seem to be doing too well at appearing on search-engines. I have registered us with various engines and have meta tags, headings and so on.

Can anyone make any suggestions about how to improve?
