In a link of the eye.
 

A simple enough question, well more of an observation really. I have noticed on proon these last weeks that when one includes a link to another website/whatever, instead of it displaying itself as it always did before "www.xyz.co.uk/1105.htm" or somesuch, it now shows invariably "SHJ asks pertinent question about links" in the link space.

This is helpful if one is in a hurry to see if something is worth clicking on, but what is 'doing' this and why has it changed ? Somehow i preferred the 'old' way visually, but then again i'm into retro :8 Is this just happening here or elsewhere ?
