fs2002 a/c add-on query
sorry to clutter this forum with yet more microsoft cyber-babble, but i'm struggling to make tracks with this one, and it's only a quick one
question is, can you run the fs2000 a/c add-ons (namely the corporate & private pilot) on the fs2002 edition? many of websites suggest you can, but my local IT guru thinks they won't run on the fs2002 framework any tips, advice or info on soon to be released packages would be most appreciated cheers |
If it isn't supported by the publisher (Abacus?) then you may have problems. That's the standard disclaimer.. .Check www.flightsim.com and www.avsim.com in the user forums and search to see if probs/workarounds have been reported (seems like you might have done this if you've seen references stating that it may work).. .I do know that Wilco's PIC 767 has just been updated for FS2002.

My god I think I know the answer. I'm pretty inexperienced at this but I did trip across your problem last week. Apparently FS2002 has an 'aircraft converter' which will convert aircraft from previous editions into 2002. I saw it in the root directory (that means just inside the normal FS2002 director). I didn't have to use it in the end so Ican't recommend it or not as the case may be. Good luck....
