Well...
I am constructing a website using Word. Annoyingly, I cannot actually use mailto. Do I simply hyperlink the required word, and type in the URL field, mailto:[email protected]? Does anyone know how I would go about using it?
Before I go, is there any other site's similar to bravenet.com, offering decent freebies? |
IMHO, you are just wasting your time farting about with word. Use something decent like one of the web based publishing programs (I use Geocities) or at a pinch publisher..

I do HTML GKV, hence my using word. This package seems as good as front Page or note pad for the job.

MP,
Try:- First save your file as an HTML document. Then from the menu, Insert|Hyperlink. In the drop-down list under "Link to File or URL" select "mailto:" The cursor is placed after the colon. Type your email address and hit return. Your email address will appear in the document as a hyperlink and upon clicking it should start your email client. It does mine :) AA |
