Pictures on Pprune
 

I must be short of a bit of software, when I open a topic and there are pictures, all I see is a small frame with an 'X' in it, what do I need to view the picture.

Assuming you have a fairly recent internet browser, you shouldn't need anything else.

The problem may be due to the person who is posting the image, not referring correctly to the picture. Remember that this discussion forum doesn't have the capacity to store pictures, so they need to be published to a web server first, then the link to that picture can be posted to pprune.
