FLY! won't work!

I have just bought FLY! to play with.

It runs (sort of) but the graphics are multi coloured and blocky.

The problem appears to be that I have DirectX 8 installed and FLY! only seems to use DirectX 6.

Does anyone have any ideas please?

Not so! I have FLY and a GeForce 256 card AND DirectX 8 and it works fine.

Check your display settings! OR, and this is most likely, get some new drivers from your Graphics card manufacturer from their website. Nearly always the reason.

Thankyou for your reply, I do have the latest driver for my card (Hercules Terminator Beast) but still no joy. I am running 600 X 800.

Dunno what to do now

Have you downloaded the final patch from the fly website? It is about 23mb, but made a difference to my performance of the game.

However, I would say that whilst the game played better, it still freezes after about ten minutes.

I have just about given up on it.
