DirectX 8.1
 

Twice I've tried to download the new DirecX 8.1. On both occasions the dowload froze about three quarters of the way through, ie after about 45 minutes of connection time. Anybody else had a problem?

Ever considered a download manager like GETRIGHT?, this will restart the download where it left off...

Yes, I use DAP, which usually does the 'resume' function and is very useful, but I can't get it to kick in when downloading this particular Microsoft product. I recall, but can't be sure, that it doesn't always seem to work on Microsoft sites.
