Monitor Issues
I've recently purchased a new PC and monitor, it's an HP Quad Core running Vista with a 20" monitor. I can go into the spec but I'm not sure it will help.
Set it up, all worked fine for a couple of days. Then one of the kids 'accidently' pressed AUTO on the monitor. I now get a message "Attention Input Not Supported" every time I start up. Have no fear I thought, the nice chaps at a well known PC store 'sold' me their insurance, well more like we'll give you £50 quid off the PC if you take it as I need to make my sales target, but thats another story. Long story short the people on the help line were as much use as a jam sandwich to a drowning rabbit, so I cancelled it. I worked out for myself that if I hold the AUTO button down I get two messages, either DDCCI Disabled or DDCCI Enabled, both get rid of the moving Attention box, but as soon as I restart it's back. Any ideas anyone? |
