Vista switches on inadvertantly
 

When I switch off at end of day I use the 'hibernate' facility. However sometimes, during the night, I discover the comp. has swiched itself back on. Any suggestions?
Also ''Youtube' can be excessively slow buffering'

Not familiar with Vista (and planning to stay that way!) but, does it have a 'wake on LAN' facility ticked?

Assuming you leave the connection on too.

There is a known bug that prevents Visat from sleeping. It doesn't affect all systems & one thing that can help is to switch on S3 standby in the bios.
