Commenting to a moving thread
Obscure bug report: I posted a reply to this thread http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=312718 (about Sun journos getting past security at LCY).
I started writing the post while the thread was in Rumours & News, but by the time I finished it had been moved to Airlines, Airports & Routes. When I hit the Submit button, there was a long pause and, eventually, a window popped up with this enlightening message: XML Parsing Error: not well-formed Location: chrome://mozapps/content/downloads/unknownContentType.xul Line Number 1, Column 10:ndlerProp")); ---------^ Fortunately, the original edit window was still open (and anyway, alarmed by the long pause, I'd already cut and pasted the text of my reply to a local editor), so nothing was lost. I followed the thread to its new home and reposted. Not a high priority problem, but it should be on a bug list somewhere. R |
I think that is the technical error code for *bad timing*.

It's true that I've been called 'not well-formed' many times, but when a computer does it, it does give one pause...
