Callserve error on Vista
 

I had Callserve on Widows XP no problem, just gone over to Vista and when I
downloaded Callserve, I get the following error: The application has failed
to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect.

Please help:ugh:

I presume you downloaded the Vista specific version? (I wont enquire why the vista version is twice as large as the one for XP :E)

Or fire an error report and request a solution here http://www.callserve.com/help_contact.asp

Hi GG, not sure if it is the vista specific version, as the only version I can get is from one of the free software sites, although is does say for XP and vista. I also can't contact callserve as their website has been blocked here in Dubai.:confused:

Ahhh, on callserve's website there is a specific program for vista, it's 5.63MBs
as opposed to 2.36 for the XP one.

Try entering 62.189.6.31 as the url it might let you through, or try using a proxy such as http://www.proxyguy.com/ and enter the url in the space provided.

Hi GG tried both. Proxyguy blocked. No luck. Any other suggestions?
