Bios Dell Dead

I am trying to access the BIOS of a mate's PC. It is a DELL something or other but we just cannot get into the BIOS.
Tried all the usual tricks, del,alt F10 etc but to no avail.
The PC has lost the admin password and we are trying to reset it wit a bootable disc. Trouble is the disc will not boot.

Try F2 - works on mine!

If in doubt, press as many keys at the same as you can at boot up.

That usually prompts a "Keyboard Error" and an entree to BIOS city.

usually as soon as the laptop starts you need to press ctrl alt and S
This should work
