IE7
 

Does anyone out there have problems with IE7 hanging when using a wireless connection if you do nothing for about 5 minutes?, only remedy seems to be close and reopen the browser then it will work ok until you stop for more than 4 or 5 minutes again. Seems to work fine as long as you keep using it.

Any help would be appreciated.

It might be due to the 'system standby' time. Check this out.......

Start> control panel> click 'Performance and Maintenance'> click 'Power Options' and see what the 'system standby' time is set for. Try increasing it.

Just an idea.

Thanks, tried that but all settings set to never when on mains power which is the time it happens.

You might find doing a search on this site could help, used it myself for xp probs........
