Old LapTop Wanted
 

Has anybody got an old laptop they want a good home for?



I need a laptop with a serial port and either a CD-Rom drive or preferably a USB port, working Windows Millenium or W98 or the like (something later than 95 but earlier than XP.)



It will only be used once or twice a year to update a database on my Sandel EHSI. However it must have a Serial Port to communicate with the EHSI. I have tried a modern computer and a USB / Serial adaptor but that doesn’t work. Why a CD Drive or USB port – so I can down load the update on a modern computer and transfer the data to the old computer.
