email attachments

My dear Gurus' ..

I use Thunderbird 2.0.0.4. Ever since the upgrade emails with joke and/or picture attachments (jpg etc) don't open, they all sit down the bottom of the email and have to be individually opened. Kind of ruins the whole effect if you know what I mean.

I've exhausted my brain power and ticked and unticked everything I can think of .. any thoughts?
