Forum search software
 

Would anybody be able to recommend a free or cheap forum search tool for some archives that used to appear on a phpbb?
Ideally is should be able to search by keyword.

More info needed...
 

Are these records still online or archived to a file?

If online are they only visible to users or public?

If online and public try Googl's advanced search, specify the search term and the domain of the site you want to search.

If in an archive you'll need to recreate the bulletin board and use either the built in search or perhaps something like GREP.

Grep?They are on an old board that had a search facility which has been disabled because it puts too much pressure on the current board.Pm me and I will send you the location.

If its still online Google might work as long as its not blocked.
