Importing harware from UAA to UK
 

I am thinking of buying a film scanner (for digitising 35mm film).

They cost less in $ over there than in £ here, but are they the same spec? How would I be able to tell? Will my US purchased unit work when I get it home?

Check the mains voltage for the units transformer is compatible, i.e 220 volts 50 cycles AC other than that if you can get it in the country without problems it should be compatible, as to software a simple download written for the UK will probably see it working ok with other utilities.
