apologies. How do you post a pic on pprune?
i did it before with photobucket but it seems not to work now.
God I hate computers.

select insert image in the posting screen (it's the double mountain icon) .... paste in your photo bucket link and hit return ...... preview your message and you should get your photo image in your message like this one ..... if it's all ok then submit the message

It just comes up as the URL. not the pic.

You keep trying and when it doesn't work, you delete your posts. (Twice in about 3 minutes this morning.) If you leave it, as hobie suggested, there's a good chance one of the experts in this forum will be able to see what you're doing wrong.
I'm no expert, but managed to copy what you'd posted before it disappeared again.
Your version:

The reason your picture doesn't display is that there is a [ missing at the very beginning.
With the [ added to make a 'box', the software will recognise IMG as a code and your picture will appear.

Voilà ......Now you've learnt how to post pictures. :ok:

Me and computers have had a rocky relationship over the years. As you noticed, this has resulted in me having little patience with them. Is there a forum for victims of abuse by computer?

by the way ..... if your plan is to swamp us with Dutch Penthouse photo's you may end up with more problems than incomplete URL's screwing up your posts ..... some of the Mods around here are very sensitive you know .... :p
