Zonealarm blocking internet access
 

Does anyone know why zonealarm blocks access to the internet after the computer has not been used for a while? I have checked the settings and can find nothing obvious, its really annoying 'cos I then have to either disable it or restart my computer to get back into the internet. All thoughts gratefully recieved.

There is an option for ZA to turn on the internet lock after a specified period. I think you access the menu from the front page.

When ZA block your internet do you get any symbols appear over the ZA icon in the task bar?






I have been using ZA for 5 years now, never had a problem:O :O

Programme Control/Main/Automatic Lock/Custom?

Check internet zone and trusted zone are set to medium, it's the only way mine works through a home network.
