missing line above task bar
 

At the bottom of my screen I have the task bar with the start button on the left and the numerous icons on the right. Until recently there was another bar above this that displayed the web address of any site that the cursor was placed over and a progress bar when opening a new page.

Its Disappeared!

Can anyone tell me how to get it back?

When Internet Explorer is open click on "view" (Between Edit and Favourites up the top) and check there is a tick beside "status bar" Left click on it to create/remove the tick there. (It's a toggle switch.) That should cause it to reappear.
