no sound
My laptop has no sound at all...it just happened tonight.I found out that there is a problem with Realtek High Definition Audio
Please can anybody help me????:\ |
I can offer a few generic tips:
Ensure that your laptop does not have the headphone jack occupied with a plug. Look for a button or key control on the laptop for volume and see that it is up. Some have obvious buttons, others can require a key combination to control the hardware audio level or even mute. It should be marked. Try turning your computer off, unplug the power cord and remove the battery for at least 10 min - then power back on. You can look in your Hardware list by Right-clicking on My Computer, then choose Properties and check the hardware list and look for yellow exclaimation marks or red x's here for a clue. If it is a software issue, try a System Restore. Click the Windows Start Button, All Programs, Accessories and System Restore. Choose a recent date when the audio was ok and run the restore process. You can always undo the restore if it does not help. Good Luck ! |
Thank You Very Much For Your Help!
