Who is an Exel Expert
Hello there..
Can anyone help me with a small problem I have. The problem is that I am trying to import my logbook from the online logbook website logshare.com. The problem is that when I copy/paste the table over to exel, all numbers which are f.ex. 2.6 ( with decimal, not comma ) comes out as a date, in this case: 02. June. I have tried over and over again different methoths of formating of the cells before I finally copy it in. It seems as exel disregards every cell that I've previously formated and puts it's own interpetation on how I want to see the information. If I try to format the cell afterwards, ( 02. June over to number ) I get even more confused. I have also tried the export funktion of the website with the comma-separated values. However, it's even more tetious job trying to sort the information, line for line.. Is ther any other way that I'm missing..? Any help appreciated.. Proxus |
