Cant restore my laptop
 

Chaps,

I have a 5 month old Dell running XP and I have had a few things go wrong recently.

I wanted to do a system restore but although it seems to go through the motions it never completes and I get an error message when it restarts telling me it hasnt gone to the earlier date.

Also I have noticed that since the other problems have happened there havent been any verification points created.

I have tried going through thr task manager and closing down as many processes as I can with no luck on the restore.

Any ideas would be welcome
